Can you use hair conditioner as a shaving cream?

I never bother buying shaving foam, I just use a thick layer of soap, or shower cream, and someone told me to use conditioner, but is this just stupid or will it actually be better?

Yes, you can use any hair conditioner as a shaving cream, i do. It makes your legs smooth!

I have always used conditioner. I think that it works great, leaves my skin smooth and it is already in your shower, so using it is a space saver.

its better than shampoo i think since its conditioning like lotion or something. so it doesn’t dry out your skin like shampoo. i also heard that it even works better than shaving cream.

No it’s stupid.
I heard that too, so I tried it
and it sucks. Stick with soap.
Conditioner doesn’t let the blade glide smoothly over your skin.
It’s more like scraping.. which irritates the skin.
